The Deputy Minister of Public Industries said: Last year, of the 907,000 net jobs created in the country, 370,000 were in the industry, and with the industrial community's labor force exceeding eight million and 400,000 people, the industry's share of the country's employment reached 41 percent for the first time.

According to IRNA, Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran stated at the ceremony to commemorate Industry and Mining Day and celebrate exemplary artisans and miners of Mazandaran, which was held this afternoon - Wednesday - in Sari with the presence of the Governor of Mazandaran and a number of economic activists and officials from the province's industries and mines, that: We live in a country whose dynamic society can achieve many industrial and scientific advances and has always played its role in the advancement of the country in various historical aspects.

Stating that the capabilities and talents available in Iran, including geographical, industrial and human, are unparalleled, he added: We have capacity in all areas and the path to the country's economic and industrial prosperity is open.

Referring to the existence of some banking challenges facing producers, the member of the Supreme Employment Council of the country noted: Banking issues are a big concern for us and producers. Of course, in various provinces, steps have been taken to address this concern by order of the governors through the Facilitation Headquarters. The new government has a serious determination to reduce production problems, and the fact that officials are available and are working shows the government's serious determination to remove obstacles to production and industry.

Stating that the revival of stagnant production units is one of the serious priorities of the 13th government, Baradran said: Even if one unit is revived, it is valuable to us. Entrepreneurs restore the dignity of the family and society, and creating even one job is an honor for all of us.

Referring to the efforts of the 13th government to reduce the unemployment rate, Deputy Minister of Public Industries Samat stated: If in the previous decade, the data of statistical centers said that we were witnessing an increase in unemployment and a decrease in economic growth, now the same statistical centers say that the country's employment conditions have improved based on the same methods and formulas of the past.

He added: The unemployment rate has reached its lowest level in years, namely 7.9 percent, and the growth in employment in rural communities, women, and the reduction in the unemployment rate of university graduates are evident.

The member of the Supreme Employment Council of the country pointed out the existence of some administrative obstacles to the country's industrial and mining activities and said: The industrial sector has never been in opposition to another sector and, incidentally, it can complement all sectors. For example, the transformation and complementary industries in Mazandaran can be a flourishing economy. If sometimes it is felt that there is an obstacle, a legal solution has been defined.

Baradaran emphasized: Environmental protection should not be in conflict with industry due to concerns and this province should not lag behind other provinces. Of course, we should treat nature appropriately. But this does not mean that we should not use resources and capacities. There should not be a negative view in the media towards producers, industrialists and miners who are all working together to grow the economy and employment. With this capacity, Mazandaran can have more active industrial and mining units than the current statistics.
